An AHU or Air Handling Unit is used to regulate air within an HVAC (heating, ventilating and air-conditioning) system.
Due to the volumes of Air Changes required to achieve high levels of ISO14644 classification, Air Handling Unit (AHU) plant and equipment can be both costly and ineffective when trying to control larger critical environments. Connect 2 Cleanrooms support the implementation of Air Handling Units only in circumstances where the overall Cleanroom HVAC design approach isn’t compromised or where the level of ultraviolet (UV-C) light control demands.
