What did the client need?
Our client required a large scale ISO Class 7 cleanroom environment to reduce surface particulate contamination on their assembled EUV vacuum system during final assembly and packing.
They needed a solution which could be relocated at a future date with minimal disruption and expense. In fact this cleanroom has now been relocated a total of 3 times in the past 2 years.
How did the client benefit?
As the softwall modular cleanroom was on such a large scale, we designed it with hand rails and kickplates on the exterior of the room. These ensure the cleanroom is only accessed through the designated change area, allowing the cleanroom to maintain its integrity during use and encouraging good gowning protocol.
With each build, the cleanroom installation has been a crucial part of this project. Our Engineers worked in close co-operation with our client to ensure all installation deadlines were met promptly, whilst adhering to good health & safety practice at all times.
How did we help the client?
The client was impressed with the design of the modular clean environment. The low cost and extremely short lead time were also deciding factors, as modular cleanroom solutions are typically much less expensive and have a shorter lead time and installation than traditional build rooms.
The fact that the design of the cleanroom enabled it to be extended as their business grew and relocated with relative ease, was a huge asset to the client.
