Joe Govier, MD, Connect 2 Cleanrooms
Lizzie is our Company Secretary, as well as heading up the Finance team. Initially a Registered Nurse, Lizzie had a change of heart and retrained in Accounts to run a Department prior to co-founding Connect 2 Cleanrooms with Joe. Lizzie really enjoys working with all employees in the various departments of the company. Lizzie completed the Flora Marathon in 2008 and has unequivocally informed us that she will NEVER do it again!
Mark heads up the Engineers side of the business. The part that he really enjoys about his role is seeing a project develop and grow all the way through to completion. That, and a happy customer at the end of the project. A keen music and festival goer, Mark can also be found beating his kids with no mercy………. on any Playstation game.
Nicky heads up the Sales & Business Development side of the business. It is such a diverse role and one that Nicky relishes. If you cannot find a cleanroom product on our cleanroomshop.com site you can guarantee that Nicky will source it for you. Outside of work Nicky finds enjoyment in experimenting in the kitchen, probably where all the lovely food smells come from in our kitchen here at work!
Matt also works on the Engineer's side of the business. Matt not only sees his role as designing and constructing cleanrooms meeting and satisfying client’s needs but as an ambassador for the company. Matt is a natural with the clients and really enjoys meeting them on a one to one basis. This can and does happen regularly all around the world making him quite an authority on many different cultures. He can confidently order a beer in 8 different languages!
Daniel is a Technician and can be found on many cleanroom installations, a fact that is making him a well travelled man. Indeed there is not that much that Daniel does not know about Europe and the rest of the world. The variety of his role and the fact that it allows him to work in many different industries is also a plus in his books. All that aside, Daniel will always maintain that mashed potatoes beat chips hands down!
Sean heads up the Marketing Department, where he exercises his impressive experience of marketing international companies. With a CIM Postgrad Diploma, Sean is always coming up with marketing innovations and professes his love of ROI on a regular basis! Outside of work Sean plays bass in a band. His most interesting gig to date is when he played a 4 hour gig at the Tate Britain in London – the first band ever to play there!
Sarah works in our Accounts section and it is fair to say that numbers are her forte. There is nothing that Sarah does not enjoy about her role and she is certainly an asset to the team. Interestingly, she is married to Matt one of our Engineers one of two married couples who work for Connect 2 Cleanrooms. A truly family business!
Andy is the person who prepares all products for despatch, a daunting task when you consider the sizes of some of our cleanroom orders. Andy also doubles up as an installation fitter so his work load is very varied and interesting. Outside of work Andy can be found instructing in the art of clay pigeon shooting in which he has previously represented the North of England at competition level.
Natalie works closely with the Engineers in an organising capacity, a role that she really enjoys. Natalie thrives on the day to day challenges which are extensive due to the increased international travel of the Engineers and due to the intricacies and technicalities of the job. Interestingly Natalie has an identical twin sister who she is older than by 6 minutes.
Jeni is a member of the Marketing team and she has many areas of expertise that are being used to develop the company's online strategies. A university graduate, this is the second time that Jeni has worked at Connect 2 Cleanrooms. She initially left to travel the world and returned to the fold earlier this year.
Holly has been working for Connect 2 Cleanrooms for the past 3 years and has a real knack for customer and supplier relationship building, an essential skill for the Sales and Business Team. She also works hard on her extra curricular studies that will also benefit her role. Holly kindly agreed to be photographed for this web site so look out for her on these pages and on cleanroomshop.com
Jane brings a wealth of experience to the Sales and Development Team. Previous roles have seen Jane as an HR Manager, a Company Secretary but it is her current role that gives her so much variety to her working day. Jane loves eating out and she professes to never eat in even though she lives with a chef!
Hanifa has now left the business and and is on to new pastures which include the study of a Business Management Degree. In her time with us Hanifa was a key member of the cleanroomshop.com team and was popular with customers, clients and colleagues alike. Hanifa's lasting legacy within the company is the many 'Product Information Sheets' which are downloaded on a daily basis from around the globe. We would like to thank Hanifa for all her hard work and the great contribution to the company and wish her well in the future.
